Job summary

Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, invites applications for casual Boarding Supervisors. You will support adolescent girls with their safety, wellbeing, study routines, meals, and recreation, while performing boarding department duties.

WWC clearance and relevant past experience are essential. We value teamwork, flexibility in hours, and the ability to engage with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Prepared to commit to the goals of a Sacred Heart education, and be an active and visible member of our wider School community.
• In possession of a valid Working with Children (WWC) number
• Demonstrated relevant experience supporting adolescent girls (ideally boarding-specific, or other pastoral experience in an educational environment)
• Completed already or willing to complete the ABSA Duty of Care Course and First Aid
• A team player with strong organisation skills who can also work independently
• A confident decision maker who is calm under pressure
• Personable and dynamic with a flair for effective written and verbal communication at all levels

Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The college is co‑educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.

At present, we are inviting applications for casual Boarding Supervisors. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of staff, where you will be a key stakeholder in the physical, spiritual, and pastoral care of our boarders.

The role:

Casual shifts available, that include afternoons, overnights, and weekends

Take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of boarders at all times

Provide guidance and supervision to boarders (study, meals etc)

Assist with internal and external recreational activities

Undertake administrative duties within the Boarding department
