Job summary

Toowoomba Anglican School is seeking a Fulltime Boarding Supervisor for our Junior Boys, based in Toowoomba. You will support and mentor students in a caring residential community, working with Heads of House to maintain routines and wellbeing.

The role offers on-site bachelor unit accommodation and meals during duty, with a rotating roster including evenings and weekends. The applicant should have a WWC/Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, and a genuine commitment to youth development.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with young people and contributing to their development.

• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise and support boarders during morning, afternoon, and evening routines.
• Build positive relationships with students and model respectful behaviour.
• Support meal, study, and recreation times, ensuring routines are followed.
• Contribute to the emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of students.
• Maintain a safe, caring, and structured boarding environment.
• Communicate effectively with the boarding leadership team about student welfare.
• Participate in the extracurricular life of the school through sports, clubs, or activities.
• Assist with the overall running of the boarding house and uphold school policies.

The Opportunity

Join Toowoomba Anglican School as a Boarding Supervisor with our Year One to Year Eight Junior Boys and immerse yourself in a unique opportunity to support and mentor young people in a vibrant residential setting, while enjoying flexibility that fits around your university schedule.

Remuneration Package

Total Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience (excluding superannuation (12.75%) and penalty rates)
