Job summary

GSTEC Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a service technician to support and maintain complex BMS and HVAC systems across diverse commercial properties. The role offers a competitive salary, company vehicle with fuel card, toll pass, and in-house training.

You will perform routine services, attend breakdowns with fault analysis, and install small upgrades while developing strong customer relationships. Applicants should have BMS experience and an electrical license (preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience working with automation/BMS systems.
• Experience working with commercial HVAC systems preferred.
• Previous experience in industrial, or commercial building controls.
• Previous experience with fault finding and commissioning VSDs.
• Excellent communications and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while displaying personal time management.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine BMS services and preventative maintenances.
• Attend BMS breakdowns including fault analysis and rectification.
• Install and commission small BMS upgrades.
• Implement control sequence changes and updates as required.
• Provide quotations and proposed repairs/upgrades to clients.
• Develop strong relationships with customers.
