Job summary

AustCorp Executive in Sydney seeks a Service Technician specializing in BMS and Building Automation. You will service, program, commission and support client projects across the region, driving building efficiency.

Applicants should have BMS/HVAC programming experience, BACnet/Modbus knowledge and a current Australian Drivers Licence. A flexible work arrangement may apply with a full package on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming and commissioning BMS/HVAC systems.
• Extensive knowledge of IP networking and communications.
• Strong knowledge of BACnet and Modbus protocols.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Hold Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Hold Current Australian Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service and updates for BMS and Building Automation.
• Configure and program BMS/HVAC control systems.
• Perform scheduled routine maintenance to improve energy efficiency in a region.
• May include commissioning and small project works.
• Liaise with clients, suggest upgrades and integration for building efficiency.
• Produce accurate service reports.
• Respond to client service requests, programming and scheduling.
• Build relationships and provide ongoing customer support.
• Investigate and diagnose faults.
• Provide commissioning reports as required.

Circa $90-120k+ base + super + vehicle / allowance + full package.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service & updates for BMS and Building Automation.
• Configuration and programming of BMS/HVAC control systems.
• Carry out scheduled routine maintenance in a specific region improving energy efficiency.
• Diverse role which can include commissioning and small project works.
• Liaising with clients recommending upgrades, integration and building efficiency.
• Report Writing - Producing accurate service reports.
• Respond to client service requests, programming and point to point scheduling.
• Relationship building and support with existing and new customer service.
• Investigating and diagnosing faults
• Providing technical support & Commissioning Reports as required

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience in programming and commissioning BMS/HVAC systems
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of IP related protocols, networking and communications
• Strong knowledge of Controls Protocols includingBACnet and Modbus
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructions
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
