Job summary

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, mining camps and coal fields. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join and lead our remote catering team on a mining accommodation village outside Moranbah.

The Position includes supervising staff, modelling high standards of performance, assisting during service and with food preparation, and rostering as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role leading a large diverse team.
• Desirable knowledge of HACCP (Food Safety).
• Commercial experience in hotel, mining, or resort environment preferable.
• Ability to train, lead and motivate your team, working with management to achieve results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to implement training and procedures.

Kitchen/Dining Room Supervisor / Team Leader

• $91,624 Base Salary + Super
• Roster = 14x7 (10) (2x weeks on, 1x week off - 10x hour shifts)
• Fly in Fly out from Brisbane Airport orDrive in Drive out from Central QLD region.

provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold & coal mines in the Australian Outback.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join and lead oursuccessful remote catering team on one of our mining accommodation villages outside of Moranbah.

The Position

• Supervise and oversee staff of a lower grade and allocate tasks during shift
• Model high standards of performance and behaviour
• Assist and work with employees during service and with the preparation of food where required
• Assist manager with rostering as required

The Person

• Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Desirable knowledge of HACCP. (Food Safety)
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results.
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
• Standard 11 Certificate (Desirable)
