Job summary

Pact Group Holdings Ltd's Pact Packaging division is seeking a Moulder Technician to operate the blow moulding line and support packaging operations. You will monitor equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain safety in a fast-paced, 24/5 manufacturing environment.

You’ll work across the production line, conduct routine checks, record downtime, and collaborate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to meet targets and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating blow moulding machines or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a food manufacturing/high-quality production environment.
• Safety‑conscious with ability to work within a safety culture.

Job Description

The Moulder Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the production line from blow moulding through to bagging, ensuring production targets and schedules are met. The role includes operating and monitoring blow moulders, vision inspection systems, leak testers, conveyors, and grinders, while working closely with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Technician forms part of a two-person shift team supporting a 24/5 manufacturing operation.

Available shifts:

• Day - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Afternoon - 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Night - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Safely operate production equipment to achieve production targets.
• Ensure products meet quality, food safety, and customer requirements.
• Comply with all WHS, quality, environmental, and food safety standards.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Experience operating blow moulding machine or similar industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience working in a food manufacturing or similar high‑quality production environment.
• A proactive approach to safety and the ability to work within a strong behavioural safety culture.
• Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
