Wilmoore Allstone in Melbourne is seeking a motivated blocklayer to join our specialist stonemasonry team. You will work on high-end residential and commercial projects across Australia, reading plans, laying stone blocks, sealing foundations, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' blocklaying experience, physical fitness, and reliability. A driver’s licence and own transport are preferred as travel to sites across Victoria may be required.

We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable blocklayer to join our expanding team.

Skills required:

Working alongside highly experienced stone masons, you will:

Laying stone blocks and moulds for walls, façades, retaining structures and other features

Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials and spreading layers of mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks using trowels

Mixing mortar and preparing materials

Ability to read plans and site layoutsto determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures

Measuring, cutting and shaping Stone/blocks using hand tools and machines

Ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety and site cleanliness

Collaborating with team members to deliver projects efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years' experience in blocklaying (as a qualified bricklayer/blocklayer)

Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

Physically fit, hardworking and reliable

Positive attitude, good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Driver’s licence and own transport preferred
