WorkPac are seeking experienced Drillers for ongoing opportunities at Clermont Mine. This role offers a competitive pay rate, flexible travel options, and the opportunity to work with a leading mining operation in the Bowen Basin.

7/7 roster with rotating day and night shifts, FIFO from Brisbane (DIDO optional). Camp accommodation and meals provided. Equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production drill rigs in mining.
• Proven experience on Bucyrus SKF and/or Sandvik DR412 rigs.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Current Driver's Licence and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Operate production drill rigs in open cut coal mining.
• Drill blast holes per mine plans and production schedules.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Monitor drilling performance and report equipment issues.
• Work with drill and blast teams to hit production targets.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating production drill rigs in an open cut coal mining environment
• Drilling blast holes in accordance with mine plans and production schedules
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Monitoring drilling performance and reporting equipment issuesMaintaining compliance with site safety standards and operational procedures
• Working closely with drill and blast teams to achieve production targets

What You Will Need

• Previous experience operating production drill rigs in a mining environment
• Demonstrated experience on Bucyrus SKF and/or Sandvik DR412 drill rigs
• Strong understanding of drill and blast operations
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
