MACA is seeking a Trainee Driller in Western Australia to join our Drill & Blast teams. This entry-level role offers comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing support to safely operate drill rigs.

Working a 2:1 roster, you will contribute to daily production targets and build the skills to progress into a qualified Driller role. You will join a collaborative, safety-focused crew with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided to develop drilling skills.
• Assist with the operation and inspection of drilling equipment.
• Follow safety and environmental standards in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of production drilling equipment.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Support drill setup, rod handling, and drilling activities.
• Follow Drill & Blast plans and procedures.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards.
• Complete training and competency requirements as part of the traineeship.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew to achieve production goals.
