Job summary

Impact Drill & Blast offers integrated drill and blast services, covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, markout, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. With over 30 years of experience, we service clients in civil, mining and quarrying sectors.

Our company is expanding and seeks full-time blast crew roles for the Northern Territory team. Based in Marrakai, NT, these positions involve on-site work with occasional overnight travel and a clear path toward

Qualifications

• Licence: Australian Open Class manual driver's license.
• Proficiency in using computers and operating systems.
• Physical agility to undertake extended walking, carrying and bending.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness and ability to pass a national police check.
• Successful completion of a medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment.
• Desirable experience in the quarry or mining industry.

Responsibilities

• Engage in physically demanding work.
• Establish exclusion zones with appropriate signage.
• Follow all instructions on the blast site from the shotfirer and/or supervisor.
• Ensure site and equipment cleanliness.
• Uphold Impact's safety culture and standards in the designated area.
• Perform any other duties as required by a supervisor/manager from time to time.
