Job summary

Ausdrill is seeking expressions of interest for a Blast Crew Labourer based in the Goldfields. The role operates on a 7/7 day shift roster and focuses on safe, efficient support to the Shotfirer during blasting operations.

Key requirements include holding a valid Dangerous Goods Security Card, a current C Class driver’s licence, meeting pre-employment medicals and National Police Check, and the ability to mark drill patterns and maintain safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Have a valid C Class drivers licence.
• Meet pre-employment medicals and a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shotfirer to prime, charge, stem and tie in blast patterns safely and efficiently.
• Mark out drill patterns as instructed by the shotfirer or site manager.
• Ensure blast vehicles are clean and magazines are maintained at all times.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and assist with other duties as required.
