Job summary

MAXAM Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Operator / Blast Labourer to join our established team in Goulburn, NSW. You will contribute to safe, efficient blasting on site, loading and stemming drill holes, and complying with procedures.

The role is physically demanding and requires a commitment to safety, a valid HR licence (preferred), explosives clearance ability, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.

A pre-employment medical and clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Able to work with explosives and follow procedures.
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe delivery of day-to-day blasting services on NSW sites.
• Load and stem drill holes; on-job training provided.
• Handle and use explosives in accordance with procedures and legislation.
• Maintain high safety and environmental standards; work as part of a blast crew.
• Adhere to company, site, and regulatory requirements.
