Job summary
Coolamon Shire Council is seeking a Plant Operator to assist with maintaining roads, footpaths, drainage and recreational assets. A pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol and audiometry is required.
Essential qualifications include a White Card and MR unrestricted Licence; HR/HC licence and Traffic Controllers Certificate are desirable. A Certificate III in Civil Construction or commitment to start within 6 months is preferred. Band 1, Level 3, weekly pay.
Qualifications
- Current OH&S Construction Induction Certificate (White card) required.
- Current MR unrestricted Driver Licence (Essential)
- Current HR or HC unrestricted Driver Licence (Desirable)
- Traffic Controllers Certificate - Implement Traffic Control Plans (Desirable)
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or willingness to commence within the first 6 months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance of roads, footpaths, drainage and recreational assets.
- Support infrastructure upkeep as part of Council operations.
