Job summary

SAHMRI is seeking a Biostatistician to support the Australian Transcatheter Valve Therapies Registry (ATVT-R). You will collaborate with clinicians, data managers and researchers to design analyses and contribute to routine reports and publications.

The role requires expertise in biostatistics, survival and longitudinal analysis, and experience with SAS or R within a health-research context, based at SAHMRI in Adelaide.

Qualifications

• Honours degree or equivalent in statistics/biostatistics.
• Desirable: Master’s/PhD or equivalent.
• In-depth biostatistics knowledge.
• Experience in survival, linear mixed models and longitudinal analysis.
• Experience with SAS or R programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in health research with large observational databases.
• Data management and cleaning for large clinical data.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in registry data management and routine reports.
