Job summary

Korvest Ltd seeks a BIM Modeller/Draftsperson at its Kilburn head office to assist in the design, engineering and certification of Korvest products. You will be based at Kilburn, supporting a national branch network with modelling, drawing production and review of assemblies.

You will bring experience in mechanical design and modelling, proficiency in Revit, and a detail-oriented approach with a willingness to learn within a growing ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical equipment design and drafting.
• Understanding of how manufacturing processes are communicated in drawings.
• Revit experience essential; SolidWorks or Inventor desirable.

ASX listed company Korvest Ltd operates as Korvest Galvanising and EzyStrut. Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel & components for both internal and external customers. EzyStrut is the market leader in cable and pipe support systems throughout Australia. Our Head Office is in Kilburn, South Australia providing manufacturing, galvanising and warehouse facilities locally and servicing a national branch network of warehouses and sales teams.

Due to continued growth, Korvest Ltd is seeking a BIM Modeller/Draftsperson to join our engineering team at our head office in Kilburn, South Australia .

Your new role:

Reporting to the BIM Team Leader, you will assist in the design, engineering and certification of Korvest Products. Our BIM Modellers / drafters have at minimum, a basic understanding of general manufacturing processes and how they are communicated in drawings. You will be based at our head office located in Kilburn where our manufacturing, galvanising, warehouse and engineering teams service a national branch network of warehouses and sales departments.

You will actively assist in:

• Production of models and drawings
• Drawings to effectively and accurately communicating the design intent
• Reviewing of drawings, models and assemblies undertaken by others

You will bring:

• Experience with mechanical equipment design, modelling and drawing, preferably within a workshop/manufacturing environment
• An understanding of general manufacturing processes and how they are communicated in drawings
• Experience with Revit is essential and Solidworks or Inventor experience desirable
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
