Job summary

Grimshaw’s Sydney studio seeks a passionate Project BIM Manager to support BIM delivery across Grimshaw projects and assist architectural teams with BIM workflows, primarily Autodesk Revit.

The role oversees BIM procedures, coordinates a team of BIM coordinators, maintains BIM models, and supports training while ensuring compliance with Grimshaw BIM Standards and ISO 19650. Occasional hands‑on project work may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of BIM in practice.
• Experience with ISO19650‑compliant workflows.
• Experience delivering large‑scale projects and leading a team.
• Experience with IFC and classification systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM procedures on projects and provide technical support to project teams.
• Report to the BIM Lead on progress and training/content requirements.
• Establish delivery strategies and develop workflows for projects as Information Manager.
• Manage a team of BIM coordinators and maintain project BIM models and documents.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements, Grimshaw Standards and ISO19650, and assist the wider BIM team.
• Hands‑on project work may be required.
