Job summary

CSA Specialised Services (CSA), part of Waste Services Group (WSG), is seeking an experienced Billing Officer based in Dandenong South to join our office team.

You will prepare, process and distribute high volumes of invoices, review pricing and GST calculations, and resolve billing discrepancies with cross-functional teams.

This full-time, 9:00am–5:00pm role offers a collaborative environment, opportunity to improve billing processes, and a focus on accurate, timely customer billing.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing, accounts receivable or similar finance role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Solid understanding of GST and invoice calculations.
• Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and distribute high volumes of customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Review billing information, rates, quotes and documentation for accuracy.
• Use Excel to analyse data, check pricing and support billing activities.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve invoicing issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounts Payable, Operations and Credit teams for accurate outcomes.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries in the billing email inbox.
• Maintain organised and confidential billing records.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and other accounts tasks as required.
• Manage fluctuating workloads to meet month-end deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and efficiency.
