Job summary

CSA Specialised Services (CSA), part of Waste Services Group (WSG), is seeking a Billing Officer in Dandenong South to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing within standard hours 9:00am–5:00pm. You will work closely with Sales, Accounts, Operations and Credit to review rates, process high volumes of invoices, and resolve discrepancies using Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

This role offers hands-on experience in a busy finance team with opportunities to streamline processes and support

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in billing, accounts receivable or similar finance role.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Solid understanding of billing principles, invoicing and GST.
• Excellent numerical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and distribute high volumes of customer invoices on time.
• Review billing data, rates and quotes for accuracy.
• Analyse data in Excel using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to support billing.
• Resolve invoicing issues and respond to customer enquiries.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounts Payable, Operations and Credit teams.
• Maintain accurate and confidential billing records.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and month-end tasks.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes.
