Job summary

Westpac in Kew, NSW is seeking a part-time Personal Banking Advisor to support our branch network. You will welcome customers, discuss needs, and provide tailored banking solutions both in person and over the phone, with referrals to specialist teams when appropriate.

The role is approx. 19 hours per week, across days set to suit, with travel to other Westpac branches as required. Mandarin/Cantonese capability is highly advantageous and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Mandarin / Cantonese language capability
• Customer service and sales experience in a customer-facing/phone-based role with targets
• Resilience under pressure
• Comfortable working toward sales/referral targets and calling customers
• Numerical capability, cash handling and financial transactions
• Energetic personality with a passion for helping people
• Willing to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at Westpac to the branch and engage in conversations to uncover needs and tailor banking solutions
• Assist customers to achieve financial goals in-person and over the phone
• Refer customers to specialised Banking teams when needed
• Be flexible to cover planned and unplanned leave across Westpac branches in the area and travel as required
