Job summary

Settlement Services International (SSI) is seeking a Team Leader for the 99 Steps DFV program in Logan/Beenleigh, Queensland. You will lead bilingual/bicultural practitioners, oversee supervision, recruitment and case management to deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive support to victim-survivors.

The role requires extensive experience in DFV service delivery, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of migrant and refugee issues within a multicultural framework.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in a similar program role.
• Experience delivering domestic, family and sexual violence services with case management.
• Understanding of trauma-informed practice and migrant/refugee issues.
• Knowledge of multicultural sector policies and programs.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to bilingual/bicultural practitioners.
• Oversee daily team coordination, staff supervision, recruitment and performance management.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to victim-survivors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate incident reporting and case management processes.
• Coach, mentor and motivate the team to achieve measures of success.
