Job summary

Thredbo Alpine Village is seeking a Bike Patrol member to promote mountain safety through education and trail markers, while delivering guest information about the resort and its facilities. The role requires experience in ski or MTB patrol, and the ability to ride Thredbo's gravity trails to intermediate level or above.

Applicants should hold an ASPA certificate or equivalent, with experience operating off-road vehicles and using trail maintenance tools.

Qualifications

• Valid ASPA certificate or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Previous experience in Ski or MTB Patrol, or MTB Park Operations.
• Experience driving off-road vehicles, 4x4s or ATVs.
• Experience with, or tickets and qualifications related to chainsaws/brush cutters, hand tools, power tools and trail maintenance tools.
• Experience with trail markings and hazard signage.
• Ability to ride Thredbo's gravity trails to an intermediate level or above.

Responsibilities

• Promote mountain safety through education and trail markers, signage and fencing.
• Provide information to guests about the resort as required.
• Maintain a strong knowledge about the resort to assist guests.
