Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Bids & Pursuits Senior Executive to join our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane teams on a permanent basis. You will support Pursuit Managers in end-to-end bid development across energy and infrastructure, delivering high-quality, distinctive client-centred proposals and leading small to medium bid initiatives.

We value experienced professionals with a track record in pursuit roles, strong writing ability, and excellent stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pursuit and bid role in legal, professional services, or similar environments.
• Experience drafting proposals and coordinating with SME stakeholders to meet pursuit requirements.
• Strong knowledge of work-winning processes and ability to translate technical content into clear bid text.
• Experience supporting bid teams through end-to-end bid lifecycles, meetings, and negotiations.
• Excellent writing skills for diverse audiences including public sector, banks, and corporates.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end, high-quality bids and pursuits for energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Lead small to medium bid deliveries and coordinate with Pursuit Managers.
• Collaborate with SME stakeholders and bid teams to ensure compelling client-centred responses.
• Transform technical information into concise, persuasive proposals for various audiences.

The Opportunity:

Our Business Development function have an exciting opportunity available for a Bids & Pursuits Senior Executive to join them in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane on a permanent basis.

This role forms an integral part of our Bids & Pursuits team and will be responsible for supporting our Pursuit Managers aligned to our Energy and Infrastructure sectors. Energy & Infrastructure is one of our three anchor sectors at Ashurst Perkins Coie, this role will see you support our Pursuit Managers with the end-to-end development of high quality, distinctive and compelling client-centred complex bids and pursuits. You will also have the opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery of small to medium bids & pursuits.

• Experience of proposal writing and collaborating with SME stakeholders and other teams to deliver against pursuit requirements.
• Strong work-winning process knowledge, writing and project management skills; able to transform technical information into clear, compelling, succinct content for proposals to various audience types.
• Experience supporting bid teams throughout the bid lifecycle, including critical meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Strong writing skills; able to transform technical information into clear, compelling, succinct content for proposals to various audience types (including public sector (government/councils), banks, financial institutions and corporates).
