Job description

Lead complex construction and government tenders, driving compliant bids and winning high-value projects.

10th September, 2026

We're looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join Fleetwood's NSW Sales team and play a critical role in securing future work across construction and government sectors.

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end bid and tender process, ensuring submissions are compliant, professionally presented, commercially sound and delivered on time. Working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Design, Estimating, Commercial, Manufacturing and Delivery teams, you'll coordinate complex tender responses and ensure Fleetwood is positioned to win high-value projects.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly autonomous role and help shape the future of the NSW bid function. You'll work closely with experienced leaders across NSW, QLD and VIC while establishing best-practice processes, driving governance and delivering successful tender outcomes.

We're looking for someone with proven construction tender experience, exceptional stakeholder management skills and a strong governance mindset. Equally important is the ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and take ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end tender, bid and EOI submissions across construction and government opportunities.
  • Manage the bid process from initiation through to submission, ensuring compliance, quality and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate inputs from Design, Estimating, Commercial, Construction and Operational teams to develop compelling tender responses.
  • Review tender documentation, identify key requirements and manage governance obligations throughout the submission process.
  • Prepare and compile high-quality bid documentation aligned with client requirements and Fleetwood standards.
  • Manage tender portals, submission schedules and bid-related documentation.
  • Build strong relationships across NSW, QLD and VIC teams to drive collaboration and successful outcomes.
  • Continuously improve bid management processes, tools and ways of working.
About You
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end tenders and bids within the construction industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and drive outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A governance and compliance mindset, with the ability to manage complex tender requirements.
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong digital literacy across Microsoft Office and tender management platforms.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership and driving continuous improvement.
  • Government tender process experience will be highly regarded.
Why Fleetwood?
  • Opportunity to shape and build the NSW bid function during an exciting period of growth and change.
  • Play a direct role in securing major construction and government projects.
  • Work closely with experienced leaders and stakeholders across NSW, QLD and VIC.
  • Enjoy a high level of autonomy with the ability to influence processes and outcomes.
  • Join an organisation committed to Collaboration, Integrity, Accountability, Safe Together and Innovation.
  • Access career growth and development opportunities across an ASX-listed national business.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements supporting both performance and wellbeing.
