NovaSource Power Services is seeking a field technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) power plants. You will monitor operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and repair of AC/DC systems including inverters, transformers, and switchgear.

High voltage switching is essential. Requirements include 2+ years in related roles or journeyman certification, HS diploma, and electrical certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems.
• Experience with SCADA and controls systems operation.
• Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance per procedures.

Responsabilités

• Perform quarterly KPIs: energy generation vs. plan, on-time PM, and plant efficiency.
• Promote safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
• Maintain personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Follow Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Job Brief and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Assist on-site planning: projects, installations, commissioning, inspections, and testing.
