Job summary

RGIT Australia is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support (BSP) Practitioner to join our Western Sydney multidisciplinary team. You will develop, implement, and review BSPs; provide training to families and carers; and advocate for participants within the NDIS framework.

This full-time permanent role offers true flexibility with a mix of community-based work, Penrith/Blacktown clinics, and work-from-home days, plus clinical supervision, CPD and a supportive, growth-focused culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months of experience as a BehaviourSupport Practitioner.
  • Current registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission: Core or Proficient.
  • Committed to empowering participants and using evidence-based strategies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with report-writing skills.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review BSPs.

We are seeking a dedicated BehaviourSupport (BSP) Practitioner with at least 12 months of experience to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Western Sydney.

As a BSP Practitioner, you will work holistically with participants across various age groups to reduce behaviours of concern, work to eliminate restrictive practices, and improve overall quality of life for your participants.

Currently we have participants eager to start their services with us, so the successful applicant must be a registered practitioner ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and review evidence-based, person-centred BehaviourSupport Plans (BSPs).

  • Write comprehensive, high-quality clinical reports to advocate effectively for your participants' funding and needs within the NDIS framework.
  • Collaborate closely with internal multidisciplinary team members and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who brings the following:
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience practicing as a BehaviourSupport Practitioner.
  • Current registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission: Core or Proficient level preferred.
  • Committed to empowering participants, helping families thrive, and utilizing respectful, creative, and evidence-based strategies.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and value the holistic insights a multidisciplinary approach brings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with excellent report-writing skills with a proven track record of successfully advocating for participants.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC), and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
