Transform Life Pty in Launceston is seeking a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our established team. You will work across disability, psychosocial and complex behavioural presentations, with opportunities for work from home and client visits in the local community.
We value balance and growth, offering supervision and development within a supportive Tasmanian team. AHPRA/AASW membership is highly regarded but not essential.
We’re looking for a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our established team in Launceston.
And you’ll be joining a pretty impressive group.
Transform Life was recently named Therapy Service of the Year at the 2026 Tasmanian Disability Awards, with several members of our Tassie Behaviour Support team also nominated for Behaviour Support Practitioner of the Year.
That recognition reflects the quality of the practitioners you’ll work alongside, the impact they’re having with participants and the culture we’ve built in Tasmania.
We’re also growing our Complex Care service, bringing Behaviour Support and Psychology together to support people with complex mental health needs, forensic and justice backgrounds, high-risk behaviours and service breakdown. If this interests you, there’s an opportunity to help shape where we take it next.
We give good Practitioners room to structure their work sensibly.
You might cluster face-to-face appointments across certain days and use other days from home for reports, admin or telehealth. You might work from home in the morning and see clients that afternoon, or structure your day around school drop-offs and pick ups.
Not every arrangement will be possible, but if genuine work-life balance matters to you, it’s worth a conversation.
That flexibility comes with trust. We value Practitioners who are reliable, communicate well and follow through on commitments. There are KPIs and expectations, but we don’t believe good people need to be micromanaged.
You’ll ideally have at least 12 months’ experience as a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, with experience across disability, mental health, education, corrections or a related setting.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and AHPRA or AASW membership are highly regarded but not essential.
