Job summary

Centre for Positive Behaviour Support (CPBS) in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our flexible, hybrid team. You will conduct assessments, write and review MEBS-based behavioural support plans, and supervise junior practitioners under Regional Clinical Manager guidance.

The role involves collaboration with families, schools and health professionals, delivering evidence-based interventions, and maintaining compliant documentation and reporting across home,

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst, Behaviour Therapist or similar discipline.
  • Current NDIS Practitioner ID.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong assessment, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Passion for achieving meaningful outcomes for people with disability.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and working within the MEBS model.
  • A postgraduate qualification related to Positive Behaviour Support or behaviour analysis highly regarded.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, assisting with the implementation of plans and supervision of other practitioners. The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in the home, community, and school/workplace settings.
