Job summary

Chrome Health is a NSW-based organisation focused on understanding the person behind behaviours and supporting independence and quality of life. We collaborate with families and professionals to implement practical, person-centred strategies across home, school, SIL and community settings.

As a Behaviour Support practitioner, you will conduct FBAs, develop BSPs and implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies, ensuring least restrictive approaches while supporting communication and daily

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and experience in behaviour support.
• Strong FBA, BSP development, and report writing skills.
• Experience supporting people with disability and/or complex support needs.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, strengths-based practice.

Job description

You'll work alongside participants and their support networks to understand behaviour, identify unmet needs and develop practical, person-centred strategies that support greater independence, participation, choice and quality of life. Your work may take you across home, school, SIL and community settings.

Key responsibilities

Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)

About you

Relevant qualifications and experience in behaviour support

Strong FBA, clinical reasoning, report writing and BSP development skills

Experience supporting people with disability and/or complex support needs

A strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and evidence-informed practice

A commitment to trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, strengths-based and person-centred practice

Confidence managing your own caseload and working independently

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A collaborative and reflective approach to your work
