Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking casual OSHC Educators to join our team across multiple locations in Sydney and surrounding suburbs. Work hours are typically 2pm–6pm with the flexibility to manage your schedule through our app. No qualifications are required, but experience with children is essential or you hold relevant certificates and diplomas.

Shifts are casual and travel to nearby locations is supported. We offer Paytime access and exclusive discounts on groceries, food delivery, entertainment

Qualifications

• No qualifications needed but experience working with children is essential or you will hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in school aged education & care, Certificate IV in Children's Studies 4-14 years.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervising primary school aged children in outdoor and indoor activities.
• Assisting staff in engaging in programs that are fun and educational.
• Setting up outside of school clubs and activities.
• Offering a safe and secure environment.
• Liaising with carers and families.

Work close to home as a casual Randstad Educator, providing engaging and quality after school care with providers in your area. We are seeking unqualified and qualified OSHC Educators to join our team.

About you:

• No qualifications needed but experience working with children is essential or you will hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in school aged education & care, Certificate IV in Children's Studies 4-14 years. • Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
• Able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs
• An understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework
• Australian work rights
• A willingness to gain your state based Working With Children Card and Food Handling Certificate
• Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities required
• Willingness to complete mandatory child safety training
• Able to provide contact details for at least two most recent professional referees who have managed you and can speak to your ability to work with children (eg Director, Coordinator, Area Manager)

A typical day will include:
