Job summary

Randstad is seeking casual OSHC Educators to provide engaging after school care near Warnervale, Hamlyn Terrace, and surrounding areas. Roles include 2pm–6pm shifts with opportunities across multiple sites and attractive staff discounts.

Unqualified and qualified applicants are encouraged; travel to different locations may be required. A supportive benefits scheme and Paytime access are highlighted in the advert.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is essential.
• No formal qualifications required, but relevant certificates listed above are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervising primary school-aged children in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist staff in delivering engaging, education-based programs.
• Liaise with carers and families as needed.

About you

No qualifications needed but experience working with children is essential or you will hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in school aged education & care, Certificate IV in Children's Studies 4-14 years. Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities required Willingness to complete mandatory child safety training Able to provide contact details for at least two most recent professional referees who have managed you and can speak to your ability to work with children (eg Director, Coordinator, Area Manager)

A typical day will include

Actively supervising primary school aged children in outdoor and indoor activities Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are both fun and educational

Setting up outside of school clubs and activities Offering a safe and secure environment Liaison with carers and families
