Job summary

Randstad Education is looking for casual OSHC Educators to join our team serving Randwick and surrounding areas. Roles available for qualified or unqualified candidates with a focus on safe, engaging activities for school-aged children.

Shifts are typically 2pm–6pm with flexible scheduling via our app. We offer a benefits scheme, Paytime on-demand pay, and discounts for casual staff.

Qualifications

• No qualifications required but experience with children is essential or you hold a Diploma or Certificate IV in related fields.
• Willingness to travel to different locations around your area.
• Understand and implement quality, engaging, activity-based programs and the My Time Our Place Framework.
• Willingness to obtain Working With Children Card and Food Handling Certificate.
• Able to provide two professional referees who can speak to your ability to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervising primary school aged children in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Assist staff in delivering fun and educational programs.
• Set up after-school clubs and activities.
• Offer a safe and secure environment.
• Liaise with carers and families.

Work close to home as a casual Randstad Educator, providing engaging and quality after school care with providers in your area. We are seeking unqualified and qualified OSHC Educators to join our team.

About you:

• No qualifications needed but experience working with children is essential or you will hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in school aged education & care, Certificate IV in Children's Studies 4-14 years. • Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
• Able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs
• An understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework
• A willingness to gain your state based Working With Children Card and Food Handling Certificate
• Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities required
• Willingness to complete mandatory national child safety training
• Able to provide contact details for at least two most recent professional referees who have managed you and can speak to your ability to work with children (eg Director, Coordinator, Area Manager)

A typical day will include:
