Job summary

Elements Of Byron is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in a casual role, with up to 30 hours per week. Shifts are mainly afternoon and evening, so availability during those times is essential.

Key responsibilities include washing dishes and keeping areas clean, following food safety standards, and assisting with basic kitchen tasks. Valid Australian work rights and a minimum 4-month commitment are required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Minimum commitment of 4 months.
• Previous experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen and wash-up areas clean, organised and safe.
• Assisting with basic kitchen duties as required.
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following guidelines.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish from all kitchen areas during and after each shift.
