Salt Bar in Kingscliff, NSW, is seeking an experienced Functions & Events Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of every event at this iconic beachside venue. The role combines planning, operations and leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences while meeting financial targets.

You will oversee the entire customer journey from enquiry to post-event follow-up, manage a high-performing events team, control labour and stock costs, maintain presentation and standards, and drive

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar functions and events role.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, labour and stock costs.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and event days as required.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full functions and events process, from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Lead, train and develop a high-performing events team.
• Control labour and stock costs to meet financial targets.
• Maintain venue presentation and operational standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
