Job summary

Endeavour Group's Esplanade Hotel in Brighton is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team and deliver a welcoming, high-energy pub experience. This hands-on role includes working across bar, bistro and gaming operations with a strong customer focus.

The position offers a base salary from AU$80,000 plus super, a bonus scheme and group-wide discounts. A current RSA, RSG and RP badge is required, with physical duties including lifting and stock movement as part of regular duties.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting (stock, kegs, deliveries).
• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room environments preferred.
• RSA/RSG and RP Badge required per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the locals so well they feel part of the crew.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great vibe.
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of hospitality staff.
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches.
• Bring energy, service and smiles on every shift.
