Job summary

The Esplanade Hotel in Brighton is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the venue buzzing and loved by locals. This hands-on role involves lifting and stock movement, with a focus on safe, energetic service and a welcoming atmosphere.

You'll learn from experienced leaders, lead a team of hospitality staff, and act as the face of the pub when leadership is away. An RSA, RSG and RP badge are required by state rules.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on role involving manual handling and lifting.
• Must hold current RSA, RSG and RP badges per state requirements.
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
