Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Esplanade Hotel in Adelaide. Base salary from AUD 80,000 plus superannuation and a bonus scheme, with access to group-wide discounts. This hands-on role focuses on keeping the Esplanade buzzing and welcoming locals.

You will lead a team across bar, bistro, and gaming areas, work with the Publican, and ensure safety and great vibes across shifts. A current RSA, RSG and RP badge is required.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on role that includes manual handling and lifting (moving stock, kegs, deliveries).
• Experience supervising in the bar, bistro, or gaming room is valuable.
• A current RSA, RSG and RP badge is required per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals and become part of the crew.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great vibe.
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of hospitality staff.
• Handle hiccups before they become headaches.
• Bring energy, service, and smiles on every shift.
