The Crowd in Sydney is seeking a commercially minded Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join their Sydney studio. You will work closely with the Asia Pacific leadership team to drive business development activity across the region, coordinating campaigns, events, submissions and marketing initiatives to support growth.

Qualifications

  • Previous BD/marketing experience in the built environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a genuine interest in business development.
  • Confident at building relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, willing to contribute.
  • Experience using CRM, MS Office and Adobe InDesign.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of business development strategies and win-work initiatives
  • Coordinate targeted BD campaigns, market research, and client engagement
  • Organise regional BD meetings, networking events, and client functions
  • Prepare marketing collateral, presentations, proposals, and content for brochures, the website and social media
  • Coordinate strategic B2B meetings, including research, briefing materials and supporting documentation
  • Manage and maintain CRM data with business development activity and client information
  • Work closely with the central Marketing & Communications team to deliver regional collateral, award submissions, publicity opportunities, and thought leadership content
  • Champion regional projects, people and achievements to help raise the profile of the Asia Pacific business
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to encourage collaboration and support business development activity across the practice

Job description

The Crowd are delighted to be partnered with a leading international architecture and design practice, that are renowned for their prestigious, high-profile projects. They are seeking a commercially minded Business Development and Marketing Coordinator to join their close-knit Sydney studio.

Working closely with the Asia Pacific leadership team, this role will focus on driving business development activity across the region. From identifying new opportunities and building industry relationships to coordinating campaigns, events, submissions, and marketing initiatives, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the practice’s ongoing growth. The role will suit someone who has experience in a similar role within the built environment and who has a genuine interest in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills / Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the built environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with a genuine interest in business development
  • Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, and colleagues at all levels
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent presentation and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to contribute
  • Positive, professional and self-motivated, with a desire to continuously develop your skills
  • Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign
