Rainbow Town Braeside is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our BBQ buffet dining team in Braeside, Melbourne. You will drive service standards, training, and on-floor leadership to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant management experience and ability to independently lead busy services and manage a team.
• Practical experience establishing or improving operating procedures, training staff, rostering and controlling stock and costs.
• Strong attention to service quality, cleanliness, food safety and detail.
• Effective spoken Chinese and English are essential.
• A calm, accountable and hands-on leadership style, with strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for a roster including evenings, weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and ensure service quality and discipline on the floor.
• Coordinate with kitchen to maintain buffet presentation, freshness and timely replenishment.
• Plan staffing and service flow around bookings; lead pre-service briefings and post-service reviews.
• Manage reservations, seating, queues and table turnover with professional service.
• Train staff in service etiquette, menu knowledge, hygiene and allergen handling.
• Recruit, onboard, roster and coach staff; develop capable shift leaders.
• Maintain Food Safety, cleanliness and safety procedures; monitor hygiene checks.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints, implement practical improvements.
