In this role, you will contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force by delivering complex, state‑of‑the‑art programs designed to keep Australia safe.
Working across multiple operating systems, Windows, Linux and Unix the Battlespace Administrator is a critical role for ensuring the continued operation of the Battlespace Surveillance Centre (BSC) at the RAAF Edinburgh base. This includes managing and maintaining mission system services, performing day‑to‑day operational and administrative tasks, monitoring system availability and capacity, incident management, problem diagnoses and resolution, backups/patch management and cyber security while complying with change management procedures and working in a defence environment.
Your hours of work shall average 38 hours per week over a defined work cycle, including days & nights on all days of the week from Monday to Sunday.
