Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Batcher/Relief Agitator Driver at our Moranbah Concrete Plant. The role involves batching, agitator driving, yard duties, loading, and interacting with customers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality concrete.

You will operate modern trucks with safety tech, support stock control, and participate in a 10-day training program for new starters. Overtime and weekend work apply, with a competitive hourly rate and clear safety standards.

Qualifications

• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
• A current White Card or willingness to obtain.
• SAP and Command batching system experience, or willingness to learn.
• Experience ordering materials and maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Ability to assist in plant maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
• Strong customer communication skills, with professional on-site representation.
• Good computer literacy and ability to follow processes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Safety-first attitude and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Batching of Pre-Mixed Concrete.
• Allocating of customer jobs.
• Operating the front-end loader (if qualified).
• Completing stock takes.
• Performing pre-start checks.
• Loading and delivering concrete as an agitator driver.
• Yard duties and site maintenance.
• Supporting purchasing activities.
• Ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed.
