Job summary

Hy-Tec, a leading supplier of premixed concrete, invites you to join its Swanbank plant as Trainee Batcher / Batcher Senior Batch Plant Operator. You will manage concrete batching, schedule deliveries, and operate plant equipment in a safety‑conscious, supportive team.

No prior batching experience? No problem—we provide full training. We value reliability and strong communication as you batch to design specs, take orders, and coordinate rostering and truck movements using our batching software.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and confidence with computers (Command/Jonel batching systems) would be highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Proven ability to prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent phone-based customer service and represent the Hy-Tec brand.
• Take orders, finalise sales, and batch concrete to specific mix designs.
• Schedule rostering and truck movements using software.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Order raw materials as needed.
