Job summary

Concrite, part of the Boral Group, is seeking an experienced Batcher/Team Leader for our Canberra Mini Mix operations in Fyshwick. You will coordinate drivers and plant staff, ensure accurate batching and dispatch, and uphold safety and quality to deliver reliable concrete products.

Lead day-to-day operations, mentor the team, drive continuous improvement, and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete batching or related manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Understanding of production scheduling and dispatch coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities across the Mini Mix operation to achieve production targets.
• Operate batching systems to produce concrete mixes per specifications.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries; allocate resources efficiently.
• Provide guidance and leadership to drivers and plant personnel.
• Monitor materials and stock levels to support operations.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain production and dispatch records.
• Champion safety, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
