Job summary

Real Food Worx in Cowra, NSW is looking for a Barista/Front of House person to join our busy cafe on a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend work. You’ll focus on making exceptional coffee, delivering friendly customer service, and using a POS system.

Ideal candidates are reliable, enjoy teamwork, and take pride in quality coffee and service. This long-term permanent position offers opportunities to develop skills in a supportive, inclusive cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista with good espresso technique.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to handle cash and operate a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to a high standard.
• Provide friendly customer service at front of house.
• Operate POS and handle simple snack orders.
• Support team during busy periods.

Job description

Looking for a Barista/Front of House person to work full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work. Duties include making exceptional coffee, customer service, using a Point of Sale, preparing and serving simple snack foods, and generally assisting the rest of the team in our busy cafe. You must be reliable, enjoy being a part of a team, and take pride in excellent coffee and customer service. This is a long-term permanent position for the right person.

We pay under the Restaurant Industry Award. We generally pay above the award for the right person with the right skills and experience.
