Job summary

Carpentaria, a not-for-profit Disability and Therapy Services provider, seeks a Barista/Café All-Rounder for Harry’s Place Café. You will deliver friendly service, craft quality coffee and food, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment for people of all abilities.

A supportive team and meaningful training opportunities are offered. Applicants should have 2+ years as a Barista, strong customer focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years’ experience as a Barista/Café All-Rounder.
• Present professionally with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse people.
• A passion for good quality food and coffee.
• Ability to work efficiently in a small team.
• Calm under pressure in a busy environment.
• Commitment to supporting people with a disability.
• Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

About The Role

Harry’s Place Café is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Barista/Café All-Rounder with a genuine passion for preparing quality food and beverages and creating a welcoming café experience. You’ll be part of a supportive, not-for-profit café that values inclusion and provides meaningful training and employment opportunities for people of all abilities.

About You

• 2 or more years’ experience as a Barista/Café All Rounder
• Present professionally, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of people
• A passion and love for good quality food and coffee
• Ability to work efficiently, effectively and productively as part of a small team
• Ability to thrive in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure at all times
• Commitment to working with and supporting people with a disability
• Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
