Introducing 25hours HotelTheOlympia, which opened in the vibrant Sydney suburb of Paddington. Housed within the iconic West Olympia Theatre, the hotel features 109 rooms, multiple dining spaces including The Palomar restaurant, Jacob the Angel café, and Monica Rooftop. 25hours HotelTheOlympia will shape and transform the local hospitality scene, welcoming a vibrant and diverse team, bringing its vision to life.

As Barista at Monica Rooftop, you will help set the tone for each guest’s day through warm hospitality, great coffee, and smooth service. You’ll bring energy, skill, and genuine care to the morning atmosphere, ensuring every cup, interaction, and moment reflects warm hospitality.

How does your working day look like...

You’ll start each morning by setting up the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is stocked, and ready for a smooth, efficient service;

You’ll craft exceptional coffees, from silky flat whites to perfectly balanced long blacks all while maintaining speed, consistency, and attention to detail;

You’ll connect with guests, remember their preferences, and deliver warm, personalised interactions that make their morning special;

You’ll support the breakfast team with service flow, communication, and coordination between barista station and floor operations;

You’ll manage stock levels of beans, milk, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.

We are looking for you – with personality and that certain something …

You have at least one year experience as a Barista;

You can steam milk, dial in coffee consistently, and work efficiently during busy service periods;

You’re energetic in the early hours, enjoy genuine interactions, and thrive in creating positive morning moments for guests.
