Qualifications

• Certification or substantial experience in barista skills and coffee preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods and beverage varieties.
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexible to work varied shifts including mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages with precision and care, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
• Operating espresso machines and coffee equipment to high standards.
• Taking customer orders accurately while providing friendly, attentive service.
• Building positive relationships with regular customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the beverage preparation area, including washing equipment and restocking supplies.
• Processing payments and operating the POS system accurately.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Suggesting menu items and specialty beverages to enhance the customer experience.
• Contributing to the team’s overall success and supporting other hospitality staff as needed.

What you\'ll be doing

Preparing and serving a wide variety of hot and cold beverages with precision and care, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation

Operating and maintaining espresso machines and other coffee equipment to the highest standards

Taking customer orders efficiently and accurately whilst providing friendly, attentive service

Building positive relationships with regular customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the beverage preparation area, including washing equipment and restocking supplies
