Job summary

Coorparoo Bowls Club in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead a team of up to eight staff, delivering friendly, efficient service in a welcoming club environment.

You will oversee daily bar operations, stock control, cash handling, POS reporting (SwiftPOS is desirable), and event bookings while upholding high standards.

This hands-on role suits proactive leaders who can work evenings, weekends and public holidays, building positive relationships with members and guests.

Qualifications

• RSA certificate required.
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with cash handling and till reconciliation.
• Knowledge of stock control and ordering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of up to eight bar staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee bar activities, opening/closing procedures and presentation standards.
• Manage stock levels, stocktakes, ordering, and minimise wastage.
• Process cash handling, balance tills, and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate event bookings and liaise with organisers for staffing.
