Job summary

1 Hotel Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Bar Supervisor to lead the Crane Bar & Lounge team and ensure smooth shifts. You will set service standards, mentor staff and maintain consistent beverage quality in a vibrant, high-energy setting by the Yarra.

The role requires 2+ years of hospitality experience, strong cocktails knowledge and the ability to stay composed during busy periods. Evening, weekend and holiday availability is preferred for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' hospitality experience, ideally in a bar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beverages.
• Ability to lead a team with calm judgement during busy service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team through daily service, including opening and closing.
• Coach and train team members, building confidence and consistency.
• Keep beverage quality, service and guest experience on point.
• Support stock, ordering, budgets and responsible cash handling.
• Help bring promotions and bar activations to life.
• Maintain health, safety and brand standards.
