Crystalbrook Riley, a five-star luxury hotel in Cairns, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor for Paper Crane. You will lead the day-to-day bar operation, inspire and develop a high-performing team, and maintain exceptional service, presentation and product quality across shifts.

You bring strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine with a guest-obsessed, collaborative approach. Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is required, and RSA

• Previous experience in a quality bar, restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine.
• Confidence leading, motivating and developing a bar team.
• Understanding stock management and ordering for a busy bar.
• Availability across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the day-to-day bar operation alongside the Venue Manager & F&B Manager.
• Inspire, coach and support the bar team to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure presentation and product quality remains exceptional across shifts.
• Oversee stock management and ordering to support beverage offerings.
• Contribute to the evolution of the beverage menu and guest experiences.
• Support the wider restaurant operation, events and celebrations as needed.

The Opportunity

Paper Crane is Crystalbrook Riley's vibrant restaurant and bar, bringing together bold Asian-inspired flavours, creative cocktails and the relaxed energy of tropical Cairns. From breakfast through to dinner, the venue evolves throughout the day, offering memorable experiences for hotel guests and Cairns locals alike.

We are seeking an experienced bar professional to step into a Food & Beverage Supervisor role and lead the beverage experience at Paper Crane.

Working alongside the Venue Manager & Food & Beverage Manager, you will lead the day-to-day bar operation, inspire and support the team, and maintain consistently high standards across service, presentation and product quality. You will also oversee stock and ordering, contribute to the continued evolution of the beverage offering, and support the wider venue across dining service, events and celebrations.

This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

• Previous experience within a quality bar, restaurant or luxury hotel environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wine, with an interest in current beverage trends
• Confidence leading, motivating and developing a bar team
• An understanding of stock management, ordering and the commercial drivers of a successful bar
• The flexibility to support the wider restaurant operation, functions and events
• A warm, guest-obsessed approach and a natural ability to recommend and elevate the experience
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to remain composed and lead confidently throughout busy services
• A current QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
• Availability across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
