Job summary

Urban Sports Bar in Maroochydore is hiring Bar Staff and Kitchen Hands to join a fast-paced, high-energy venue on the Sunshine Coast. You will serve drinks, assist guests, and help the kitchen team while contributing to a lively atmosphere.

We value a positive attitude, reliability and a team-focused mindset. RSA certification is required for Bar Staff, and a willingness to learn is essential for Kitchen Hands. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous bar, kitchen or hospitality experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and look after customers in a fast-paced setting.
• Assist with kitchen duties and dishwashing as required.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and hygiene throughout shifts.
• Work a flexible seven-day roster, including nights and weekends.

Urban Sports Bar in the heart of Maroochydore is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated people to join our team as Bar Staff and Kitchen Hands.

With live sport, great food, cold drinks and a high-energy atmosphere, we’re bringing a fresh sports-bar experience to the Sunshine Coast, and we’re looking for great people to help us deliver an outstanding experience for every guest.

Whether you’re serving drinks, looking after our customers or supporting the kitchen team, we want people who take pride in their work, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and bring positive energy to every shift.

What we’re looking for

• Previous bar, kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

• Bar Staff: Confidence serving beer, wine, spirits and cocktails, along with a current Queensland RSA certificate.

• Kitchen Hands: A willingness to assist with food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning and general kitchen duties.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A friendly, professional and energetic attitude.

• The ability to stay calm, organised and efficient during busy service periods.

• A strong commitment to cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.

• Availability to work a flexible seven-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
